The CSI team is shocked and saddened when, after working with Dr. Raymond Langston (Fishburne) on the “Dick & Jane” murders, Grissom announces that his time as a CSI has come to an end and offers Langston a permanent position on the CSI team.

Laurence Fishburne’s debut appearance on “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” upcoming episode entitled “19 Down” is revealed through a new clip and one behind-the-scene video posted below. The clip features Fishburne in a scene where he introduces himself as his character, Dr. Raymond Langston.

The clip also shows how the 47-year-old actor begins an investigation of a murder case. Meanwhile, the behind-the-scene video presents the on-set shooting for the episode. On the video, the Emmy Award-winning actor also expresses how he feels for joining the series.

In “19 Down”, Fishburne plays a well-known criminal pathologist who will work together with the series’ main character, Gil Grissom, played by William Petersen. The episode itself tells how the two will investigate a new murder which leads to a connection with an infamous serial killer.

“19 Down” will be aired on December 11 at 9/8c on CBS network.

As can be seen in the recently released preview below, the next episode of “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” will see the investigating team dealing with a murder case which takes them back to years before. The promo video opens with a scene where a singer is being insulted on a stage and then followed by a glimpse of a dead body.

On the next episode of “CSI” entitled “Young Man With a Horn”, the CSI team has to deal with a murder of a popular new singer, whose body is found in the outside of an infamous Las Vegas nightclub. Further into the investigation, the team uncovers a link between the present day crime and a murder from over 50 years ago.

Guest starring Tippi Hedren and Robert Guillaume, “Young Man With a Horn” will be aired on CBS network, December 4 at 9/8c.

“CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” brings back the miniature killer to the screen in an episode called “Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda”. One of the most notorious killers who produces the biggest mystery for the CSI team, Natalie Davis aka The Miniature Killer is being decided on her fate when Grissom is called to testify at the competency hearing of her.

Also, the murder of a mother and her young child appears to be connected to a suspect in a CSI investigation from over a decade ago. The murdered woman was once married to a man who went for a killing spree. “The West Wing” Joshua Malina guest stars in the November 20 episode.

On other news, it has been announced through a press release that Laurence Fishburne will enter the show as well-known criminal pathologist Dr. Raymond Langston in the December 11 episode which is called “19 Down”. In the episode, the team will discover a link between a new murder and the infamous “Dick and Jane Killer”. Fishburne is added to the cast in preparation of short-handedness the quarter will experience when William Petersen who plays Gil Grissom quits the show the end of this year.

They then must help the rest of the team investigate the death of a young woman who turns out to be the daughter of a big time drug lord wanted by FBI, CIA, and DEA. They discover with security camera footage that she was thrown out of a club by two bouncers earlier that night. When Catherine and Riley go to the club Catherine discovers her daughter Lindsey there with a fake ID.

Nothing was happy about “The Happy Place,” the last episode of CSI.  A woman about to get married leaped out of her apartment to a roaring bus, a woman is beaten blue by her formerly underage lover, and a man pulls the plug on her wife, who was a rape victim.  With “For Warrick” as precedent, however, this is quite easy to understand, as everyone is still predictably reeling from the death of Warrick (Gary Dourdan).

Another surprising (or not-so-surprising) thing that happened in this episode is Sara (Jorja Fox) validating her belief that, indeed, this CSI life was just too depressing for her.  She upped and left, somehow ending whatever it was she and Grissom (William Petersen) had – once again.  However, unlike the last time, there wasn’t so much as a ruckus when she left on this episode, not a letter, nothing, she just did.  Then again, Grissom himself has some eight episodes to go before he leaves so it’s unclear if it remotely matters.

On tonight’s episode of CSI called “Art Imitates Life,” a series of dead bodies are found in what it seems to be in the middle of their everyday activities, such as a woman who, while talking on her phone at the park falls dead – “without falling.”  According to Grissom, they seem to have died in their positions, so the team must determine what is causing them to remain upright even after death.  They suspect an artist who have people pose as dead for his pictures.

Other things happening in Vegas include the hiring of a new CSI, Riley Adams to be played by Lauren Lee Smith.  A counselor also comes in to help everyone who seems to still be reeling from Warrick’s death.
